Hatha Yoga Mount Waverley

Breath-led movement. Tailored teaching. Small class comfort.

If you’re looking for Hatha Yoga in Mount Waverley, our classes offer more than just a sequence of poses – they build strength, flexibility, and awareness. Hatha slows you down, connects you to your breath, and helps you move with intention.

Led by a senior teacher with 25+ years’ experience. Just 8 students per class, so you’re seen and supported. We adjust for injuries, goals and all levels.

What Is Hatha Yoga?

Hatha Yoga is a traditional, steady-paced practice where the focus is on breath, alignment, and mindful movement. The word “Hatha” represents balance — between sun (ha) and moon (tha), effort and ease.

In each class, you’ll be guided through postures (asanas) that stretch and strengthen the body, while encouraging control over breath and focus.

 Sessions typically include:

  • Sequences of standing and seated poses
  • Clear alignment instruction
  • Use of props to support posture and comfort
  • Pranayama techniques to calm the nervous system
  • A relaxation or meditation practice to close

This combination improves mobility, posture, and clarity of mind — all while helping you reconnect with your body and breath.
